About TaskCents

Token prices are easy to publish and hard to use. "$2 per million input tokens" does not tell you what a support bot, a code review or a 50-step agent will cost. TaskCents runs real tasks, counts the tokens each model uses and multiplies them by the list price of every model and provider, every day.

TaskCents is written and maintained by Piotr Olszewski. I run the measurements, maintain the price scrapers and sign every guide.

Independence

• Rankings are sorted by cost and quality only. Nobody can pay to move up.
• Sponsored placements, if any, are labeled "Sponsored" and never appear inside rankings.
• Some outbound links are affiliate links; they are marked and do not affect the order.
